Our Cheeky Story

Cheeky started when I moved to Australia and suddenly ran out of my favourite Filipino local beauty products. The ones I trusted. The ones that worked. The ones I always reached for. I searched everywhere in Perth, hoping to find my go-to brands. But there were no local stores carrying them. Ordering online was an option, but shipping costs from back home were almost as expensive as the makeup itself, especially when you live all the way down under.

Around this time, I also began working part-time as a freelance makeup artist. Using these products on my clients and seeing how well they performed made me realise just how competitive Filipino beauty brands had become. My clients loved the results, and I felt proud using and recommending these products in my kit. The quality, performance, and innovation are now on par with global brands, without the intimidating price tags.

That is when Cheeky was born. But this story goes both ways.

When I was still living in Manila, I also found myself craving international beauty brands that were hard to get or expensive back home. Beauty lovers everywhere know the feeling of wanting what is just out of reach.

So to beauty lovers back home, I have not forgotten you. I am ready for your pasabuys too.

Cheeky is my way of bringing the beauty I trust to the place I currently call home, while sharing the beauty I love across borders. It proves that great makeup is not defined by where it is from, but by how well it works and how confident it makes you feel.
